“The Gallery” Opens With Stunning Art!

Posted by DownTown Kingsport Square on October 3, 2007

The Gallery at 158 Broad Street is now open! The hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am through 4pm. Patti Lawrence, Founder and Owner, was wanting to create a co-op for local Artists. This arrangement didn’t work out, but the end result has become a beautiful context in which local artists can display and sell their art. The Gallery is showing the work of several local artists including:

Angie Perry – photography
Jeffrey Stoner – photography
Leslie Davis – oil painting
Paul deMarrais – pastels
Anne Gurney Thwaites – pastels
Jim Stagner – watercolor
John Hilton – printmaking
Aurora Pope – mixed media
Margaret Helvey – collage
Jane Martin – decoupage
Judy Grover – oils
Cindy Saadeh
Patti Lawrence – sculpture

To contact The Gallery you can reach Patti at 367-9211. Classes and workshops are also being offered. To top it off, Patti is a residential and corporate art consultant, helping owners to incorporate art as an integral part of the design.
